Cottage Gourmets is one part artistic sophistication, one part meticulous craftsmanship, and one part simple homemade goodness. The inspiration is rural Minnesota itself in all its beauty and character.

Our business is to create beautiful delicious food and we have been doing this for 20 years. 

Fairhaven Farm and Classic Hall in the Annandale area are two  of the venues we utilize. But we can travel to your location, where ever that might be!

General Information

All dinners but one begin at 6:30. The exception is the Wine Dinner. It begins with appetizers in the garden at 6 with dinner following at 7.

Reservations are required. Call 320-236-7894 by the end of business on the Thursday before the dinner for both reservations and cancellations. 

While we request that you pay by cash or check on the night of the dinner, we will ask for Visa or MasterCard information when you make your reservation. Nothing will be charged to your card unless you do not attend and have not given us prior notice.

Dress is casual. Let the weather be your guide.

A vegetarian option is always available. Please call during the week before a dinner to learn what we will be serving.

Saturday, June 1st -Three Course Beer and Food Pairing $50

  

Annandale’s Spilled Grain Brewery will pair each course with one of their beers and will be on hand to talk about the beers and the pairings.

Appetizer Course

Served in the Garden

Beer barbequed chicken wings

Grilled bread with cheese herb butter


Main Course

Taco Bar

Assemble your own tacos with some or all of the following:

Corn tortillas

Flour tortillas

White fish

Pulled pork

Mexican rice

Mango slaw

Avocado crema

Pico de gallo

Shredded cheese


Dessert Course

Caramel cheesecake

With each course, each guest will be served about three ounces of a paired beer – two different beers with the appetizers.

We provide an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet, an Italian salad, and dessert. You bring your own plates, glasses, utensils, and beverages.

  • Cedar-planked salmon or Sous vide pork with charred vegetables
  • Parmesan ranch potatoes
  • Tomato, corn and green bean salad
  • Artisan breads

Dessert Course

  • Gingerbread with apple cream



Saturday, September 14 2019 - Four-Course Wine Dinner - $55

Appetizers in the Garden 

  • Homemade herbed ricotta cheese
  • French onion dip with barbecued potato chips
  • Italian Sausage bites with crostini 
  • Gingered melon skewers

Salad Course

  • Heirloom tomato salad with herb-cream dressing and grand padano cheese
  • Sourdough bread with mushroom butter

Main Course

  • Coq au vin
  • Wild rice
  • Balsamic carrots with shaved Brussels sprouts and orange zest

Dessert Course

  • Almond cake with raspberries

Saturday, October 5 2019 - Harvest Dinner - $35

  • Cheese and caramelized onion strudel

Main Course

  • Sauerbraten
  • Mashed potatoes

  • Beet and apple salad

Dessert Course

  • Apple pie tasting
  • You will sample several pies made with different apples and then vote for your favorite pie!
